A dark, satirical dystopian novel set in a near-future society plagued by youth violence and state control. The story follows fifteen-year-old Alex, the charismatic leader of a small gang of “droogs,” who revels in nights of brutal crime, theft, and assault. Written in a unique slang called Nadsat, Alex narrates his descent into capture by the authorities and his subsequent participation in an experimental “rehabilitation” program known as the Ludovico Technique.
