Greg Heffley is anxious to grow up, imagining all the perks of being older—no sharing, more control, etc. But as “growing up” draws near, he realizes it’s not so simple. He’s facing awkward changes, new responsibilities, the fallout of a fight with his best friend Rowley, and being dragged into his uncle’s fifth wedding.
