The Grinch, a grouchy, green creature living alone on Mount Crumpit, despises the joy and cheer of Christmas in the nearby town of Whoville. Determined to stop it, he steals all the Whos’ gifts, decorations, and food on Christmas Eve. But when he sees that Christmas comes just the same—without presents or feasts—he realizes the true spirit of the holiday lies in love and togetherness, not material things. His heart grows, and he joins the Whos in celebration.
