How to Be Me follows Lucas, a boy struggling with grief and loneliness after the death of his mother. His relationship with his father feels distant, and Lucas dreads being forced into a summer drama club by his dad. Reluctantly, he joins, and through new friendships and shared experiences, including discovering a talent for music, Lucas begins to open up and find his voice.
