Hiccup is faced with a mystery when lightning storms begin hitting the village of Berk. The Vikings start believing that Thor is punishing them for harboring Toothless — a Night Fury dragon — among them. Hiccup, however, believes Toothless is innocent. He investigates and discovers that the problem is not the dragon but something else: the metal perches built for dragons in the town are attracting lightning strikes. Hiccup must show Toothless’s innocence before the Vikings ban Toothless from Berk forever.
