Jacky Hart is ready for a summer of performing—she wants to act, sing and shine. But her parents have other plans: she ends up with a summer job at a resort in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, babysitting her younger sisters and dealing with tourist chaos. Despite her duties and distractions, Jacky longs to audition for the summer stock production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As she juggles work, sisters, friendship and her stage dreams, she learns that sometimes life’s biggest roles come with unexpected challenges and choices.
