Follows a young girl named Margaret and her beloved grandmother, who is slowly losing her memory. Though Grandma occasionally confuses apples with pears and forgets Margaret’s name, she still remembers how to make their special apple pie—the centerpiece of their bond.

Through Margaret’s eyes, we see how memory fades and how continuity can be lovingly preserved: she reassures Grandma by saying, “I am Margaret. I am your remembering.” The story approaches Alzheimer’s with warmth, honesty, and emotional clarity, without oversimplification or saccharine endings.
