Martin Moone’s family is struggling financially — his parents can’t afford a proper Christmas. To help out, Martin tries to get a job but fails. Then he hears about a suspicious fish factory run by Francie Feeley, whose business is booming despite having no visible employees. Curious, Martin goes undercover as a “fish detective” and sneaks into the factory. There, he discovers a hidden gang of Brazilian fish-gutters working illegally. But when Martin’s cover is blown, he has to decide where his loyalties lie — and how far he’s willing to go to help his family.
