Lila Edwards is heartbroken and reclusive after being jilted on her wedding day, choosing to hide away in her cottage with her cats and put all her energy into her online craft business. Meanwhile, Ethan Morris, a widower still adrift in life, returns to Sunflower Street to care for his ailing mother. Persuaded to start a painting and decorating business, he ends up being hired to refurbish Lila’s cottage. As he works to bring new life to her home, the two slowly begin to heal: Lila from emotional loss, and Ethan from his grief. Their connection grows amid simple acts of kindness, but both must decide whether they are ready to move beyond their pasts and take a chance on love again.
