Susannah Dean is possessed by a demon-mother named Mia, and something terrible is growing inside her. Meanwhile, Roland and his ka-tet (his group) travel through different worlds: Eddie and Roland find themselves in Maine, in the real world, while Susannah’s struggle brings her to the border of the End‑World. As destinies converge, the group must stop a terrible fate from unfolding.
