Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timmy the dog are spending time on Kirrin Island when George is plagued by a toothache. At night, George thinks she sees a light on the supposedly abandoned Kirrin Island. Concerned, the rest decide to investigate even while George is visiting the dentist. The investigation leads them into mysterious occurrences.
