a heartwarming novel about love, loss, and second chances. The story follows Anthony Peardew, an elderly man who has spent years collecting lost objects in hopes of reuniting them with their owners—making up for losing a precious item belonging to his late fiancée.

After his death, Anthony leaves his house and collection to his assistant, Laura, a woman healing from a divorce. With the help of Sunshine, a unique young neighbor, and Freddy, the kind gardener, Laura begins to fulfill Anthony’s mission. As they uncover the stories behind the lost things, Laura also finds healing, friendship, and the possibility of new love.

A parallel storyline about two other characters, Eunice and Bomber, eventually ties into Laura’s journey, enriching the novel's emotional depth.

This is a gentle, uplifting book with touches of magical realism, humor, and touching moments about finding what’s lost—both things and people.
