a false Aslan is used to deceive the creatures of Narnia. An ape named Shift manipulates a donkey named Puzzle into impersonating Aslan, leading to chaos and the betrayal of Narnia to its enemies, the Calormenes.
 
King Tirian, with the help of Jill and Eustace from Earth, fights to save what’s left of Narnia. As deception spreads and hope fades, the real Aslan returns. The world of Narnia comes to an end, but the faithful are led into Aslan’s Country—a heavenly, eternal version of Narnia.
