Set in a vibrant jungle, Wakey Birds introduces a species of birds notorious for being unable to fall asleep. One night, the littlest Wakey Bird is wide awake and, in an attempt to snooze, taps a stick against something nearby—waking the other birds and, inevitably, the slumbering Dreaded Jungle Beast!
 
But all is well: inside the Beast’s cave are cozy storybooks. Soon, the jungle is lulled back to sleep, thanks to the calming power of a bedtime tale.
