follows Cassy, a girl whose only picture of her father is the one he left behind when he abandoned the family. Raised by her grandmother, Cassy’s life is disrupted one night by strange footsteps, and the next day she’s sent to live with her mother in a squat in London. Her mother is involved with actors and a travelling show called Wolf, which draws Cassy in even as a growing sense of unease shadows her. She senses someone—or something—is watching her, and fear builds as she tries to uncover her father’s whereabouts, what drove him away, and why he remains absent. But as she digs deeper, Cassy comes to realize that some questions may be more dangerous than she had anticipated.
