Books First Africa is East Africa’s leading book destination, offering new and pre-loved books across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and beyond. These Terms govern your use of our website (booksfirst.africa), retail locations, wholesale services, and delivery network.

2. Eligibility

To purchase from Books First Africa, you must:

Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent.
Provide accurate personal, delivery, and payment information.

3. Products & Availability

We offer a wide selection of new and pre-loved books.
Availability may vary by location and stock levels.
Pre-loved books are sold according to our grading system (Grade A, B, or C) and may show signs of use, as detailed on our website.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.
We accept payments via mobile money (M-Pesa), credit/debit card, and other approved methods at checkout.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Payment must be received in full before orders are processed.

5. Orders & Delivery

Orders can be placed online at booksfirst.africa or through our retail and wholesale partners.
Delivery is available across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and select regions of East Africa.
Next-day delivery is available in Nairobi, Kampala, and Dar es Salaam for eligible orders.
Delivery times may vary based on location, availability, and courier services.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our Return Policy applies to all purchases:

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Books must be unused, in original condition, and include all packaging.
Exclusions: Digital products, personalized items, and books marked “non-returnable.”
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.

7. Wholesale & Institutional Orders

Wholesale orders are available for schools, NGOs, and retail partners.
Special pricing and delivery terms apply to bulk purchases.
