George Wilson, a radiology resident based in Los Angeles, is on the cusp of an exciting career shift—one where the smartphone isn’t just a personal device, but a powerful medical tool. The new app, iDoc, promises to revolutionize healthcare by diagnosing and treating patients better than traditional methods.

However, the innovation quickly turns nightmarish. George’s fiancée is found dead in her bed following her participation in the iDoc beta trial. When other patients from the trial also die mysteriously after imaging procedures, George’s concern escalates into alarm.

Determined to uncover the truth, George delves into a complex web involving possible cyber-hacking, corporate malfeasance, and even a government cover-up. As he gets closer to the truth, he faces threats to his career—and his life—exposing the terrifying consequences of merging cutting-edge technology with medicine.
