A captivating gothic mystery that intertwines past and present narratives within the enigmatic walls of Wakefield Castle.

In 1939, as World War II looms, Wakefield Castle becomes a sanctuary for the Wakefield family and their guests, including evacuees and a curator from the Natural History Museum. Amidst the turmoil, the castle harbors secrets, including a mysterious woman seen weeping in the grounds.

In the present day, Georgie Wakefield is reluctant to move into the inherited castle but is drawn into its history when she discovers an old handwritten recipe book. This leads her to uncover the castle's hidden past and confront her own buried fears.
