Treasure Island follows young Jim Hawkins, who discovers a mysterious sea chest among the effects of a deceased guest at his family’s inn. Inside he finds a map showing the way to a hidden pirate treasure. Driven by the lure of fortune, Jim joins an expedition aboard the ship Hispaniola, under the leadership of Squire Trelawney and Captain Smollett. Among the crew is the cunning and duplicitous Long John Silver. As they sail toward Treasure Island, Jim confronts mutiny, betrayal, and danger at every turn. Overcoming fear and uncertainty, he must decide who he can trust and how far he is willing to go to secure the treasure — but the price is steep.
